About Remote Support
We use RustDesk, a secure open-source remote desktop software, to provide technical assistance to our friends and family members. This allows us to help you troubleshoot issues, install software, or provide guidance without needing to be physically present at your computer.
The portable version requires no installation and can be quickly set up for temporary access.

How to Use
Download & Run
Download the appropriate version for your operating system and run the application. No installation is required.
Share Your ID
When the application opens, you'll see a unique ID and password. Share these with your support person via phone or messaging.
Grant Access
When your support person connects, you'll receive a prompt asking for permission. Click "Accept" to allow the connection.
End the Session
When support is complete, simply close the RustDesk application. For security, the session will automatically end.
